About Moosewave

Email marketing tools are good at telling you what they did and bad at telling you what happened. A campaign report says a message was delivered, which means a server accepted it — not that a person could see it. Those are different facts, and the gap between them is where most email budgets quietly go.

The gap widened in 2021, when Apple began pre-fetching tracking pixels and open rates stopped meaning what everyone had built their segmentation on. A lot of tooling never adjusted. Automations still branch on opens that were never opened, and re-engagement rules still fail to remove people who have not read anything in a year — which damages the sender reputation those rules existed to protect.

We are building Moosewave around measurement that survives contact with reality: placement observed rather than inferred, engagement based on deliberate actions rather than automated ones, and reporting that shows the cost of a campaign next to its return.

Being specific about the boundary: the capability pages on this site describe software that exists, written in the present tense for that reason. What does not exist yet is open availability, published pricing, and the certifications listed as absent on the security page. We would rather draw that line clearly than let present tense imply you can buy it this afternoon.
