In memory of Adam Robinson

Remembering Adam Robinson

With love for his work and the thinking he shared.

A yellow lightbulb above a pink notebook connects to a blue envelope, suggesting an idea carried into useful work.

We’re very sad about the loss of Adam Robinson and his family. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved them.

We loved reading Adam’s thinking around MoltSets. The idea itself was exciting, especially the way it brought contact data into tools like Clay and Claude Code. His posts let you follow along while he was still figuring things out.

When he first announced MoltSets, he wrote about being anxious that the market might be too small or too crowded, and that he might be wasting his time. There was something endearing about someone who had already built so much still feeling that way about a new idea. He shared the plan and went ahead with it.

He was just as open in the beta updates, talking through search problems, asking for difficult feedback, and explaining what the team was changing. We really appreciated getting to see that side of the work.

In one of his essays, he called building companies his art. He wrote about hoping to keep doing it for years, with a calm schedule and a team he cared about. We’re glad those words are still there to go back to.

Thank you for sharing so much of your thinking, Adam. We found a lot to love in your work, and we’re glad we got to read it.

Rest in peace.
